Larson quoted in USA Today front page article

Larry Larson, Executive Director of ASFPM was quoted in a front page article of the USA Today, “Changes urged in flood control: Designed to protect, system is destroying” on May 19, 2011. Calls are being made for a change in the federal policy to address flooding on the Mississippi River. Current flood control policy utilizes the opening of spillways and release valves, and destruction of levees to minimize flooding along the river.
