Registration

Conference registration offers three options:

Option 1

The FULL IN-PERSON registration includes admission to the Sunday Welcome Fest, Monday through Thursday conference program, exhibits, Tuesday Luncheon, early bird sessions, Thursday National Awards Luncheon and Thursday evening networking event, as well as refreshment breaks, conference materials, conference participants list, and on-demand access to the complete library of sessions. Supplemental training workshops and technical field tours are available at an à la carte price. (Includes Lunches & Thursday Night Event)

Option 2

The BASIC IN-PERSON registration includes admission to the Sunday Welcome Fest, Monday through Thursday conference program, exhibits, and early bird sessions, as well as refreshment breaks, conference materials, conference participants list, and on-demand access to the complete library of sessions. The supplemental training workshops and technical field tours, Tuesday Luncheon, Thursday ASFPM Awards Luncheon and Thursday evening networking event are available at an à la carte price. (Does Not Include Lunches & Thursday Night Event)

Option 3

The VIRTUAL CONFERENCE registration includes three live-broadcast plenary sessions, live broadcast of the Tuesday Luncheon program, live broadcast of the Thursday ASFPM Awards Luncheon program, four concurrent pre-recorded session tracks, one virtual-only session track with live Q&A, conference participants list, and on-demand access to the complete library of sessions, and more.

Student Members of ASFPM can register online. If you want to attend the conference at the student rate (ASFPM student membership included), please fill out the above PDF and send a transcript as proof of FULL TIME student status.

Guest Registration is intended for partners, family, etc. of registered attendees and not for colleagues and/or co-workers.

Are you or someone you know from an underserved community and looking to attend the virtual conference?

Thanks to the sponsors below we will be offering virtual conference scholarships to individuals from underserved communities who are not able to travel to the conference.

Professional Credit Hours: ASFPM will provide certificates of attendance to all persons attending the entire conference program upon request after the conference concludes. The conference and associated training workshops offer many opportunities for continuing education. Participation in the entire in-person conference earns 12 Continuing Education Credits for Certified Floodplain Managers. Participation in the virtual conference will be tracked on the virtual conference platform. If attendee participates in the full virtual conference (viewing 12 hours of content) they will earn 12 Continuing Education Credits for Certified Floodplain Managers. Credits for attending the virtual conference are assigned AFTER the conference when staff have verified the virtual attendance tracking reports. Workshops are assigned the applicable number of CECs in their respective descriptions in the conference brochure. 12 CECs is the maximum number that any attendee can earn for the conference (including workshops).

The conference is also approved for 16 Certification Maintenance (CM) credits for AICP.


All other professional credit hours should be submitted to that profession’s licensing/governing body for approval and acceptance.

Cancellation Policy: If your plans change and you cannot attend the in-person conference, written notice must be provided to ASFPM. You will automatically be switched to the virtual and on-demand conference. Due to the virtual and on-demand conference being an option, no refunds will be given.
