That’s a Wrap. 2022 ASFPM Conference Draws to a Close

Has it really been a month since we all got together for the 46th Annual ASFPM Conference? To say it was great to be back in person is a huge understatement.

Or as one attendee put it, “I knew missed seeing everyone these past two years, but I didn’t know how much until I actually got here.”

All told, we had more than 1,770 attendees who either joined us at the Caribe Royale in Orlando or online — and we had every state in the U.S. represented. It was the largest in-person attendance for an ASFPM Conference ever. After 44 years of in-person conferences followed by two years of fully virtual events, this year marked ASFPM’s first venture into the hybrid conference format.

And if you missed our write up and photos of this year’s award winners, you can find it here.

Recordings of the sessions and plenary presentations will be available soon. If you attended this year’s conference — whether in person or online — you will be notified via email once they become available. If you did not attend but would like to purchase on-demand access, you will be able to do so. Watch your inbox for details. It’s a great way to hear from experts from across the nation and earn CECs!

As we wrap up another conference, we’re grateful to all the exhibitors, sponsors, volunteers, presenters, and attendees who made this year’s event so special. And of course an extra big thanks goes out to the Florida Floodplain Managers Association for being such wonderful hosts!

We hope to see you all again next year at the 2023 ASFPM Conference in Raleigh, NC, May 7-11! Save the date!
