This year marks the 30th anniversary of the ASFPM Foundation, and we are grateful for your continued financial support that has allowed the Future Leaders Scholarship (FLS) to grow, thrive, and support students over the years.

Thanks to contributions from donors like you, the Foundation is awarding the FLS to its 7th student this year. This life-changing opportunity has significantly impacted the academic journeys of past recipients and positively influenced the floodplain management field through their dedication and interests. This year, the ASFPM Foundation will participate in #GivingTuesday on December 2nd – the national day of generosity that provides an opportunity to positively impact the future of our profession. All #GivingTuesday donations will be directed to www.asfpmfoundation.org/giving/. This year, we invite you to participate in #GivingTuesday by donating -even the smallest contribution brings us closer to our goal of raising $40,000, which can be achieved if every member donates just $5.

We understand that this has been a challenging year for many in our field, and we appreciate the weight of those challenges. We are asking you to consider contributing any amount you are able to give this Giving Tuesday. Your donation will directly support the Future Leaders Scholarship, enabling us to continue offering this vital opportunity to deserving students.
