Mitigation Survey: Mitigating Circumstances

Mitigating Circumstances: Booz Allen Hamilton MITIGATION
SURVEY

Background

The occurrence of large scale disasters and
emergencies over the past several years has not only increased the need for
coordinated planning and mitigation efforts but has expanded the definition of
potential hazards and their risks. To better understand the nation’s greatest
risks, Booz Allen Hamilton is issuing a survey to emergency management,
mitigation and insurance personnel to collect thoughts and perspectives from
hazard mitigation and hazard insurance industries on risk mitigation and Risk
MAP activities.

Please respond to the survey by April 9th, 2012.
We anticipate it will take 5-10 minutes to complete the survey.

The outcomes of the survey will be shared in a
survey report to coincide with “Mitigating
Our Nation’s Risks: Calling Upon the Whole Community”, an event
designed to bring thought leaders from the whole community together to discuss
this topic in a collaborative manner. The event will be held on April 27 in
Washington, DC and will include the participation of Senior Vice President Thad
Allen (Booz Allen Hamilton), Dr. C.J. Huff (Joplin Schools Superintendent), and
Executive Director Larry Larson (ASFPM).
