Infrastructure Modernization and Resilience
Congress and the Executive branch continue to develop a variety of possible approaches to modernizing the nation’s infrastructure across a wide spectrum that includes surface and water transportation, public buildings, water treatment, military facilities and coastal support systems of all kinds. It is important to assure that wise flood risk management and future conditions horizons are foundational concerns and considerations in each of these areas as Congress and agencies start to incorporate changing climate and rising sea levels into the nation’s infrastructure modernization.
