The Association of State Floodplain Managers established a national program for professional certification of floodplain managers, which brings credibility to the profession. The program recognizes continuing education and professional development that enhance the knowledge and performance of local, state, federal, and private-sector floodplain managers. The Certification Board of Regents, which oversees the national CFM® program and exam, produced this video.
