From the National Academy of Public Administration:
Congress has asked the National Academy of Public Administration (the Academy) to analyze organizational options for establishing a Climate Service at NOAA. This study will be used to inform NOAA's ongoing work on this topic. A critical component of the Academy's study is to identify mechanisms to fully engage stakeholders that could be utilized by a Climate Service to effectively fulfill its mission.
We would like to invite you and your associates to participate.
For 14 days, beginning on Monday, June 14th, the Academy will host an online dialogue to inform our study, which will be delivered to NOAA, Congress, and the public in September 2010.
The dialogue is being hosted by the Academy, a congressionally chartered, non-profit, non-partisan organization that helps tackle government's toughest management challenges. The dialogue is a unique opportunity for you to interact in an online forum with a wide variety of stakeholders who have been actively engaged in NOAA's climate activities by generating, discussing, and voting on the participants' best ideas, tools, and approaches for engagement.
