DETAILS
Recognizing that many organizations are working to increase their familiarization with large-scale disaster recovery issues, the 2012 EQES Recovery TTX Design Team is developing a series of seminars as a ramp-up to the August 2012 Recovery TTXs to inform Puget Sound emergency managers, public safety officials, and the private sector on the wide variety of issues inherent in multi-jurisdictional, post- catastrophic earthquake recovery:
Seminar 2 – Utility and Transportation Recovery The Utility and Transportation
Recovery workshop will provide
attendees with unique insights into recovery issues including information about
service restoration considerations for key utilities as well as plans that
local transportation officials have concerning immediate, short-term and
long-term transport system restoration efforts that will support the Puget
Sound area.
