The entire conference will take place at the Galt House Hotel & Suites in downtown Louisville just blocks from the famous Fourth Street Live entertainment district and only seven miles from Louisville International Airport. ASFPM has contracted negotiated superb room rates - $145 for the Rivue Tower and $165 for the Suite Tower. In addition, government employees will receive the 2011 prevailing per diem rate when staying in the Rivue Tower. And remember that staying at the conference hotel helps ASFPM meet its obligations, avoid penalties, and keep registration prices lower – and besides, there's more networking!

Government Rate Per Diem Rules:

For guests wishing to book a Government Rate as part of the Association of State Floodplain Managers conference, please select a "Deluxe Room" @ $145/night when choosing your room type. You will need to present your Government I.D. at check-in to have your rate lowered to the prevailing Government Rate.

From Louisville International Airport: Travel west on Terminal Drive toward Administration Drive. Merge onto I-65 N. toward Downtown/Louisville/Indianapolis. Take the Brook Street Exit (136B). Go straight on S. Brook Street. Turn left on E. Muhammad Ali Boulevard. Turn right onto S. Second Street/KY-1020 N. Continue to follow S. Second Street. Turn left onto W. Main Street/US-60 Truck W/US-31W W. Turn right onto N. Fourth Street. Hotel is located at 140 N. Fourth Street.
